What we collect
Details sent through the contact form: name, email, company, selected service and message. For clients, also billing and contact details.
Purpose and legal basis
We use the data to prepare quotes, reply to you and deliver our services. The legal basis is a contract or our legitimate interest in answering your enquiry.
Retention and sharing
Enquiries are kept for up to two years, client records for as long as Finnish accounting law requires. We do not sell or share data for marketing. Our servers are located in the EU.
Chat assistant
The chat assistant on this site is an AI service. Messages are processed to produce a reply, and conversations are not stored on our servers. If you ask to be contacted or confirm a project description, we store your name, email, phone number if given, and the description so we can reply.
Cookies and analytics
Essential data, such as your choices and the chat kept temporarily in your browser, needs no consent. With your consent we use Google Analytics (Google Ireland Ltd) to measure visits and marketing results. Without consent, analytics stores no cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time from the Cookie settings link at the bottom of the page. We also measure visits with our own system without cookies: pages viewed, where the visit came from, buttons clicked and contact requests are counted with an anonymous key that changes every day. Nothing is stored on your device, the IP address is not saved and you are not followed from one day to the next. The basis is our legitimate interest in improving the site and measuring marketing.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct and delete your data and to object to processing. Send requests to info@lafu.fi. You may also lodge a complaint with the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman.
