What does managed WordPress care include?
Updates, backups, security monitoring and uptime monitoring on a platform optimised for WordPress, with current PHP and caching.
How is the price of care set?
By the size and needs of the site. We start with a free review of plugins, security and speed, then recommend the right level of care.
What happens if the site goes down?
If the site is in our care, we bring it back online, even when the problem came from a change on your side.
How do we share access details securely?
Through encrypted fields in our client portal, never by email. We use only the access the job needs and recommend changing passwords afterwards.
Do you look after WooCommerce shops?
Yes. An online shop needs closer care than a brochure site. Security, speed and payment methods are covered by the same agreement.
Why do updates matter so much?
Outdated plugins are the most common way in for attackers. We update in a controlled way and take a backup before every change.
Website projects
How long does a new website take?
Typically three to six weeks. Scope and the pace of feedback set the timeline. If you have a hard deadline, tell us at the start.
Can we update the site ourselves after launch?
Yes. We show you how to update text, pages, images and blog posts, so everyday changes do not need a developer.
Do we need to buy a domain and hosting separately?
No. You can keep your current domain and hosting, or move the site into our managed care.
What if we need something custom?
Tell us what you need. We book a short call and send a written quote for exactly that work.
How does feedback work during a project?
You are involved from start to finish. After the first draft there are two feedback rounds, and a third if needed.
Do you respond to public tenders and RFPs?
Yes. We respond to tenders and can provide service descriptions, references and our security practices to support procurement.
